Omar bin al-khattab
The life of Omar may Allah be pleased with him in Mecca before Islam in a period of time called the time of ignorance:
They called him Faruq, because when he became Muslim in Mecca, then God made a distinction between disbelief and faith.
Father, it is Khattab bin Novayel.
His mother is Hanteemah bint Hashem ibn Mughira.
He married in the period before Islam Zainab Bint Mazazoon, and after the advent of Islam he married Fatima bint Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, then she gave birth to Zayed and Rokaya.
He married seven women in the period before Islam and also after the advent of Islam, and Omar married many women to have children who remember God and praise him.
He was one of the few who learned to read and write. He was caring for the camels, and was a harsh period in Omar's life. All for a daily wage, a fist of dates or a fist of raisins.
In his youth, he was skilled in wrestling, horsemanship and horse riding, and had a special love in Arabic poetry. He attended the major Arab commercial markets such as Okaz, Jannah, and Majaz, and he learned trade because he was present in these markets.
